Applying to Oxford or Cambridge is a stressful process and many schools do not provide a great deal of extra help for those with Oxbridge ambitions.

At Chavagnes, we have been coaching students for Oxford and Cambridge for 15 years and aim to provide a special confidence-building experience which can be broken down into three main aspects:

• General advanced revision of the subject
• Exam specific revision for the relevant admissions test
• Interview preparation

Starting with French this October, we are holding three main revision sessions each year:

French during the October half term (next course: 20th to 28th October 2018 for admission in autumn 2019). During this course, candidates must agree to speak French.

Classics in mid August 2019: dates to be confirmed,  for admission in autumn 2020. During this course, candidates must agree to speak Latin as much as possible. Don’t panic … it is hard, but we know what we’re doing!

Humanities and social sciences at the end of August 2019 (History, PPE, English Literature, Politics, Philosophy).    (Dates to be confirmed. For admission in autumn 2020.)

Chavagnes Oxbridge Preparation is conducted by Chavagnes International College, a Catholic boarding school for boys, in conjunction with Chavagnes Studium, a Liberal Arts Study Centre. Chavagnes en Paillers is situated in the west of France, near Nantes airport, with regular daily flights from London, Bristol and Southampton.

Our Oxbridge revision courses are open to boys and girls engaged in A-level study and preparing for Oxford or Cambridge admission.
